  • The beautiful bedrooms are individually designed and decorated. The concept and design of the interiors is by renowned interior designer Adil Ahmad who created Surya Haveli’s stunning bespoke wallpaper, which reflects the colour and culture of Rajasthan, alongside custom-made and locally-sourced furniture.
  • Each bedroom has an ensuite white marble bathroom with a power shower, luxurious bath amenities and fluffy towels.
  • The bedrooms vary in size but remain the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort, with identical amenities.
  • Each bedroom is named after chambers in magnificent Amber Fort. There are four double rooms on the second floor: Sukh Mahal (Pleasure Palace) which is reminiscent of Amber’s pleasure palace and sings of grandeur with its decoration of Mughal motifs. The florally-decorated Chand Bagh (Moon Garden) overlooks the Akbari mosque which looks beautiful in the moonlight. Kesar Bagh (Saffron Garden) is named after the saffron garden created above Amber lake. Saffron, brought from Kashmir, was planted there and is depicted in the bedroom’s brightly-coloured floral wallpaper. Last but not least is Anar Bagh (Garden of Pomegranates) with its vibrant wallpaper design of pomegranates.
  • The first floor has two bedrooms: Shikar Bagh (Hunting Lawns), a twin room, which has been stylishly-decorated with a hunters-on-horseback wallpaper design as a nod to Amber’s hunting history. Chota Bagh (small garden) is our smallest room with a queen bed and floral wallpaper which is lit up by light streaming through the bathroom window.

Amer Sky Rooftop Restaurant

The number one dining destination, this Amber View Restaurant in Jaipur boasts stunning views from every corner of the rooftop. Watch the sun set behind majestic Amber Fort and catch glimpses of the multi-coloured light and sound evening show. On the other side of the rooftop is a beautiful view of Jaipur’s oldest mosque: Akhbari mosque – with vistas of the Fort walls and temple in front. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Aravalli hills, Amber View is a truly inspiring culinary experience of both local and continental cuisine. As well as being magical at night, the rooftop is a great place for breakfast after an early morning trek. It’s brilliant for a cup of chai throughout the day, too, while you soak up the view and watch the marketplace thriving outside.

Amber Dining Room

One of the best restaurants near Amber Palace, Jaipur, the haveli’s dining room will make guests feel like a local, with gorgeous wallpaper, adorned with elephants. This represents the local elephants – who can be watched from the haveli and admired for the majesty, strength and unity. Serving a well-rounded menu, there is an extensive offering of local Rajasthani delicacies in between continental dishes.

Surya Chowk

Set in the courtyard, Surya Chowk is small but beautiful and idyllic for delicious meals al- fresco be it an Indian feast or continental favourites. It is lovely for breakfast, too, with its white and red marble striped floor and the soothing sounds of the fountain. Surya Chowk can also be hired as a private dining venue for a romantic dinner as well.

Dar-Bar

Found on the first floor with palm tree wallpaper and a small library, Dar-Bar is perfect for an intimate drink before or after dinner with house favourites and tasty cocktails. The library is great for some peace and quiet and winding down after an action-packed day exploring.
Surya Haveli can also curate intimate candle-lit private dining experiences in several secluded spots in the haveli.

Jaipur is a shopper’s paradise – particularly when it comes to jewels. Surya Haveli shop features a beautiful selection of handmade jewels, designed by Madhu Singh and crafted by local artisans. There is something for everyone, from Indian to eclectic to contemporary styles. There is also a range of traditional block-printed clothes made from locally-sourced pure cotton fabrics.
